The long-standing collaboration between Telinekataja and
the Meri-Pori Power Plant paved way for a nationwide
framework agreement, which became effective in early
2017. “Telinekataja has the optimal solution for almost any
scenario,” states
ELIAS VIITAKOSKI
, Group Sourcing Manager
at Maintpartner Group.
In autumn 2016, Fortum entered into a contract with
Maintpartner for the operation and maintenance of several
power plants and district heating networks in Finland.
“Telinekataja is a long-standing co-operative partner.
The intensified partnership opens an opportunity to further
expand the collaboration and reduce the number of different
scaffolding suppliers. A solid and ongoing partnership also
enhances safety at work,” explains Viitakoski.

Scaffolding at Meri-Pori Power Plant
since 1994
Meri-Pori Power Plant is one of the cleanest and most
efficient coal-fired power plants in the world.
Maintenance Manager
ARI VALLI
has worked at the
plant for 25 years, initially employed by Fortum and now by
Maintpartner. Throughout this entire period, scaffolding has
been supplied by Telinekataja.
“Sometimes no scaffolding is needed for months,
sometimes there is an urgent need for scaffolds by tomorrow,
and sometimes, for example, during annual maintenance,
scaffolding is required for weeks. The fact that the supplier
is familiar with the plant is an advantage, and the nationwide
resources guarantee the sufficiency of installers available,”
says Valli.
